20 Things To Be Thankful For After Thanksgiving

  1. Paper towels. Some people go three months without them.
  2. Toilet paper.

Some people wait until every last piece is gone before buying more.
  3. Brand new sponges. Some people never wash dishes. Others use hand towels to wash them and then allow said hand towels to pile up next to the sink until the mildewing pile is higher than the pile of dirty dishes.
  4. Floors that are cleaned with a Swifter Wet Jet, not a Pisser Wet Jet.

  5. A heater that I am actually allowed to turn up when cold.
  6. A lamp that I am actually allowed to turn on when dark.
  7. A TV that I am actually allowed to watch.
  8. Two dogs to walk, not six.
  9. Comforters and blankets. Some people expect company to sleep on a bed sans bedding, even in winter.
  10. Clean air. Some people think the smell of cigarette smoke and dog urine is pleasing.

    It's not.
  11. Clean drains. Some people think it's okay for the water to go midway to your knees while showering. It's not.
  12. Soap. Some people see no reason to buy any--hand, body, or otherwise--during flu season.
  13. Shampoo. Some people see even less reason to buy items that clean hair.
  14. Trash cans and trash bags. Some people refuse to throw anything away, especially when it's easier to just throw the trash on the floor.
  15. A fridge that doesn't resemble a high school science experiment gone wrong inside.
  16. Cell phone and wireless signals all over a house, not just in one spot.
  17. Cokes that only you can waste.
  18. A back yard that isn't straight out of Sanford & Son.
  19. Blog awards. Thanks Raven at Stuperhero Extraordinaire for the Best Blog Award:

Sorry I'm so late in posting it.
  20. Home.
