I just turned it over to what I thought was going to be an episode of General Hospital and found a high speed police chase instead. Now get this--some guy hijacked a red semi, minus the trailer part, in South Fulton County. The owner of the semi jumped on the back of the semi in an effort to stop the hijacking and ended up having to hold onto the back during the high speed chase down Interstate-75 southbound. About five or six counties worth of sheriff's deputies and police officers joined in the chase. Obviously they couldn't shoot at the truck or attempt a pit maneuver because the poor driver was on the back, holding on for dear life. About five minutes ago the truck blew a tire, and the hijacker finally stopped in Monroe County, just above the city of Forsyth. About 15 or 20 officers bearing guns and rifles surrounded the truck and pulled the hijacker out. They then all crowded around the driver, who you could tell was telling them what had happened from the way he was motioning with his hands, patted him on the back, and shook his hand. It was like some crazy scene out of Speed.
Here is a picture of the semi and the poor guy sitting on the back:

Just when I thought I had seen it all when it came to Atlanta traffic...
