As of 8:33 a.m. EST, I have canceled all paid ads on my Entrecard widget. My frustrations with Entrecard over the last month have been slowly building, and the change in forum structure was the final straw. For those people whose ads I canceled, I mean no disrespect. You have great blogs and great Etsy sites. (I never accepted any of the make money overnight or other spam sites.) I just want the people who use their EC credits to buy advertising space on this blog to get 100 percent of the impressions. If that means falling to the bottom of the Mixed Bag category, so be it. Should TPTB at Entrecard ever come up with a dual widget and if I'm still a member when that day comes, those of you with blogs and Etsy sites who are paying for ads please feel free to apply again.That being said, I have read numerous blog posts and comments that indicate that paid ads, even when canceled, continue to show on people's widgets. I will check periodically throughout the day to see if any ad other than "Pregnant with Cancer," which should be the regular ad showing, appears without authorization. If it does, I will put in a ticket. Whether said ticket does any good, we shall see.
