I know that a lot of you are inwardly groaning right now and thinking, "Great. Another idiot is writing a post about the weather. What has the blogging world come to?" Well, get over it. It rarely snows in Atlanta and even more rarely on the southside of the city so I feel a snow day is a cause for celebration. It started around lunchtime and hasn't let up since. In fact, the snow has only gotten heavier. For once, the snow is coming down in huge flakes, rather than in minuscule dandruff flakes that melt before they can touch the ground. I've been out in it about six or seven times already, making snow balls and taking pictures. As you can see from the pictures, I even managed to get their highnesses off the porch and out into the snow. They stayed in it long enough to make yellow snow, but, hey, it's better to have yellow snow than yellow carpet. They even chased a couple of snowballs. If it keeps up, I may have to go outside in a little bit and make a miniature snowman. Yes, I know I'm 33 and probably too old to be doing so, but I don't care. It's probably the last real snow that I'm going to be seeing for awhile. Believe me when I say that it only snows once in a blue moon in South Georgia.
