Yet Another Test Post

I thought I had an epiphany the other day about how to fix the whole duplicate description thing. I could take off the Blogger blog description and just use the mega description. Thus, Google would be forced to extra a snippet from my posts to show in its search results. Well, as usual, I seem to have shot myself in the foot search result wise. My last three or four posts aren't showing up in Google blog search or regular search. Google Webmaster is telling me that I now have duplicate title tags, too, so I'm putting the Blogger blog description back, making sure the meta description is a conditional tag so it's only for the home page, and seeing if this post ever shows up in the search results and whether it shows up correctly. I'm so at my rope's end on this topic...

By the way, does anyone know what it means to have a ? at the end of html in Google search results? My duplicate title tags had that, plus some archive and widget language.
