I checked my email this morning to find out that, not only has one plus-sized store suddenly started sending me emails, but several. Some how I have gotten on the mailing list for Roaman's, Woman Within, King Size Direct, and Jessica London. Seeing as I have never even visited those sites, let alone ordered something from them, I have a sneaky suspicion that my sister may be behind it. Why? Well, I may have called her a few derogatory names that may or may not have referenced her weight while I was home, but they were justified. It was verbal self-defense. She called me quite a few ugly names first. Seeing as she's both bigger and taller than me, verbal comebacks are all I have. If I took a swing at her, she'd probably just squash me like a bug.I'm wondering if my nephew slipped up and said something that led her to believe that I had been looking at her MySpace page. He swore up and down that he wouldn't tell her that my mom and I had been spying on her, but unfortunately the kid is infected with diarrhea mouth. The words probably just came running out. Signing me up for every plus-sized catalogue in the world is just my sister's juvenile way of getting back at me. What's next? Is she going to spread the word that I have online cooties?
It's okay. For every site that she signs me up for, I'll just sign her up for two, or I'll think of something a lot worse to sign her up for than plus-sized clothing. Is there some online catalogue for STDs? If there's not, at least at the end of the day, no matter how many emails that I get, I still have the satisfaction of knowing that it's her, not me, who's wearing that 1x thong.
