The Redneck Mobile Could Benefit from a Little TLC and an Auto Repair Expert

While I was visiting my mom's last week, I made the mistake of going out to my car while my sister was taking a smoking break in her own car. Don't ask me why she goes to her car to do it because I have no idea. If I think about why my sister does the things that she does too often, I start to lose IQ points, and, as you can see from my previous post, I need all the brain cells that I can get.

As I got near my car, my sister scrunched up her nose at me, flicked a cigarette ash my way, and asked, "What's wrong with your car?"

Taking a step backwards before she decided to blow a mouthful of smoke on me as well, I asked in turn, "What do you mean what's wrong with my car?"

"Well, look at it," she answered.

"What?" I countered. "The paint's peeling off. It has been for awhile. It's a redneck piece of crap. What do you expect?"

My sister sighed, rolled her eyes at me, and pointed towards the passenger side door. "Not the paint. That."

I finally saw what she was talking about--the dent, the very dent that has been there since 1997. "Tina, the dent has been there for like the last 10 years," I told her.

"Not like that, it hasn't," she said, before making another face and sticking her cigarette back in her mouth.

I looked at the dent again and realized that my sister was right. The dent looks a lot worse now than it did 11 years ago when that lady backed into me in the Publix parking lot. The reason is that the paint is finally wearing off the dent, causing both the white undercoat and rust to appear on its deepest part. It's a sad sight, especially considering that once upon a time the Redneck Mobile actually looked nice. My mom keeps telling me that, by the time my nephew is old enough to drive it, it's going to be a classic, but if the paint job keeps deteriorating like it is now, he's not going to want to drive it. I know Chandler. He'd sooner ride his bike.

Sooner or later, whether I hand the car down to Chandler, trade it in for a new one, or sell it in the local paper, I'm going to have to get both the dent and the paint fixed. Otherwise, it's going to be such an eyesore that no one is going to want it. When that day comes, CollisionRepairExperts.com can help me find a qualified autobody repair shop that can return the Redneck Mobile to it's former, 1990's glory.

Thanks to CollisionRepairExperts.com's stringent standards, when you choose an auto body shop that is a member of the CollisionRepairExperts.com network, you can rest assured that you're choosing the best auto repair shop for the job. It requires all of its member shops to offer lifetime warranties on their work, to implement a customer followup system and an approved business management system, to participate in an annual audit, to maintain at least a CIC Class A shop and 95 percent customer satisfaction, to be Dunn and Bradstreet verified, and finally to be in business for at least 10 years before applying to join the network.

In addition to these standards, CollisionRepairExperts.com offers tangible proof of the quality of its members' work through online testimonials, feedback, and ratings posted on its web site. Locating a member auto body repair shop is easy. Simply go to CollisionRepairExperts.com, type your city or zip code into the search box, and hit enter. Alternatively, you can also click on the site's "auto repair directory" link at the bottom of the home page and browse the listings by state.

Personally, I can't wait to get my car fixed. I'd love to be able to pull into my mom's driveway with the Redneck Mobile shiny, freshly painted, and dent-free and see the expression on my sister's face then. I'm guessing that it would be a lot more open-jawed and a lot less scrunched up. Let's see how many ashes she flicks my way then.

On second thought, I might want to keep the madeover Camaro away from Marlboro Girl. With my luck, she'd probably just set it on fire, and all the auto body repair experts in the world couldn't help me then.
