Speaking of Chandler, brat fits, and computers that don't respond, I just got off the phone with him. Talk about whiny, whiny. If I didn't know better, I'd swear the kid needed a Midol. He's upset because he can't figure out how to get back to the Battledome Arena on Neopets.com. He's clicking on the link again and again, but it won't allow him to actually go into the Battledome, where his Neopet and my Neopet were squaring off in a battle prior to his computer freezing up. Like I said in the title to this post, I'm too old to be playing with Neopets. I know this, but Chandler wanted me to play him online. Thus, despite the fact that 32 is way too old to own a virtual Neopet, I signed up for the site, picked out a pet, and named it. Then I challenged him to a battle. Everything went smoothly for the first few turns, if you can call me loosing smoothly, and then his computer locked up. Now, after a restart, he can't get back.Luckily for me, it's after 7 p.m. so I played the "I'm hungry. Can't we play tomorrow?" card. Unluckily for me, my nephew forgets nothing. With my luck, he'll be calling bright and early tomorrow morning and greet me with that much dreaded question, "Staci, do you want to get on the computer?" He's not really asking, of course. He's telling me to get on it, and knowing me, I probably will.
