Help for Stubby, The Lopsided Fish

I have what you might call a special needs goldfish. Sometime ago, one of his fins fell off. I don't know if he tore it on a plant, if it got caught in the filter, or if it disintegrated from infection. I've done everything that I know to do--salt in the tank, tablet medications, Melafix, water changes--but the fin won't grow back. It wasn't one of the main fins so I thought that he'd be okay, but now the main fin on the same side has fallen off as well. Old Stubby is still swimming around and eating fine, but I'm worried that whatever happened to make the second fin go bye-bye is going to happen to his other side.

Now before I get a bunch of fish enthusiasts jumping on my case and telling me to take him to the vet, I can't. The vets around here won't even treat small animals, let alone fish. All I have is Petsmart, Walmart, and a bunch of fish drugs in my drawer. I have a bottle of Melafix, boxes of Parasite Clear, Fungus Clear, and Ick Clear, and some aquarium salt. Does anyone know which I should put in the tank, or if there is a better product that I can get at Petsmart or Walmart? If you do, please leave a comment. I don't want Stubby to end up like Sherilyn Finn at the end of Boxing Helena.
