So Grissom Doesn't Know Where Sara Is? Boo Hoo

So what do I have to say about Thursday's CSI episode, "Let it Bleed"? Um, not a lot. Was I haunted by the last few minutes of the show, like the promo said I would be? No. I've seen enough mob movies on cable and mob wars on General Hospital to know that the mob slaughter was coming.

Did Sporka bother me as much as last week? No. I was glad to see that TPTB toned down Riley some. However, I wasn't happy that she's getting more screen time than people who have been on the show for more than eight years now. At this rate, by the time Laurence Fishburne joins the cast, we'll be lucky if we see more than five minutes of Eric Szmanda and George Eads per episode. Then who will be the next ones leaving? I'm guessing it won't be Lauren Lee Smith and Laurence Fishburne.

What else? I'm still not all that happy with the way they're treating GSR just to set up the Leather One's return next week. Was I supposed to feel bad for Grissom that he doesn't know where Sara is at the moment? I would assume so, based on the whole depressed Grissom in bed scene shown sometime thereafter, but I don't. In my opinion, after the way he treated Sara in the office scene, he deserves the silent treatment. You know what they say. If you don't want fleas, don't lie down with dogs, and by this time next week, Grissom will be laying down with two of them--one of the canine variety, the other of the female dominatrix persuasion. If next week's episode turns out the way I fear it will, Grissom will deserve a lot worse than silence and fleas from Sara, like a good, swift kick somewhere below the belt.

Speaking of next week's episode, I saw the extended promo on Jorja Fox: Online, the one that has the video message from Sara where she's throwing Grissom's own words about relationships withering back in his face. Instead of harking on the depressing aspects of the extended promo, Ive decided to pick at the mundane. Why was Sara standing in front of a bunch of lockers and trophies in the video? Is she teaching physics in high school now? Is she at the SFPD or lab, the gym, a hospital, or in a dorm room? Does her brother maybe have a son who decorated his room with gym lockers and trophies, and she's crashing there for awhile? Those are the only logical explanations that I can come up with at the moment for all the lockers, photos, and trophies in the background of the video.

Maybe if concentrate on figuring out Sara's location or filling in the blanks after she says, "I'm happy" in the video, I'll be able to block out those horrible spoiler pics that I saw on the CSI Wiki yesterday, the ones where a smiling Lady Heather in a nightie is leading a smiling Grissom up the stairs. I'm sure that TPTB spliced the Sara video in the promo to create the most drama between now and next week, so I doubt she just said "I'm happy." I'm sure it was more like "I'm happy about ____" or "I'm happy that _____." The question is what.

Okay, I'm thinking about the answer, but the spoiler pics are still polluting my mind. Where's some nice temporary amnesia when you need it?
