While CSI yesterday left me with a lot of questions, General Hospital gave me some answers. First, Dante Falconeri and Damien Spinelli are not one in the same, unless Olivia forgot what her son looks like. Too bad. I was hoping that they were the same person. I guess it's a good thing that Sonny is rather fertile then. Maybe some other long lost love will show up in Port Charles and tell Sonny that Spinelli is his son.Second, TPTB did do a Sopranos reference. Max's father kept talking about how it used to be when he worked for "Tony and the boys." I wonder if he'll also say "bada-bing" before his stint is over? Third, Jason allowed Max to pretend that he, not Jason, was the head of the Port Charles mob. I don't think that Jason is going to pretend for too long, however, if the look on his face yesterday when Maximus hit him on the back of the head is any indicator. Fourth, Diane is also going along with the ruse, although again I don't know for how long. You can already tell that she doesn't like the way Maximus treats Max, and I have a feeling that pretty soon the lawyer in her is going to come out to play and defend poor Max.
What's going to be interesting now is how the whole group is going to react to Carly barging into Jason's office and asking Jason, not Max, "What the hell is going on?" Even if they cover for Max, will Mrs. C? I guess we shall see in just a few minutes.
